SINGKAMAS CHRISTMAS. We are hoping to help a group of Gerona, Tarlac farmers with their SINGKAMAS. We helped then last month by taking 75 bundles (bitbits). This time they really need our help because their regular buyer for the KIKIAM factory decided to take his business to another town. Yes, we were surprised too that the main ingredient of kikiam is singkamas.
Will some members help us help them?Back read the story;
SINGKAMAS CHRISTMAS. This is the first time we are going to help with this produce, to help the Dulay family of farmers from Brgy. Buenlag, Gerona, Tarlac. It’s SINGKAMAS (JICAMA). We like them very much, both the farmers that grew it and the produce they pose with. You can see why — in this family picture, on every face, a genuine smile. At their feet, part of the family, freshly-harvested Singkamas that would put a smile on your face. These farmers and Singkamas are special. Singkamas is not supposed to be available now nearing December but in February nearing summer. You won’t find singkamas anywhere except at Rural Rising. Our group is happy to take it all and pay a good price and a “Christmas bonus” for good attitude and right product.SINGKAMAS GROUP BUY: We are looking for Rural Rising members to support a trip to Gerona, Tarlac with P399. Your share for your kind contribution, when the truck gets back, is a tali of freshly-dug Singkamas, weight approximately 10 kilos.
