Kadyos is found locally under many different spellings, including: kadios, kagyos, cages, kaldis, kalios, kardis, kidis or tabios. It is also known as the Congo pea or pigeon pea in English.

IT PEAS TO ASK. One of our newest members Maita Ventanilla-Degilla asked about fresh PIGEON PEAS or KADYOS. We turned around and posed the same question to our farmers. And lo! We have one farmer in Sagada, Mountain Province who grows it, and is a actually having a hard time finding local buyers for it. A rare and lucky find, these fresh pigeon peas. We know because the only Pigeon Peas we could find online are the dried variety and seeds, not fresh. With these, you can make the KBL (Kadyos, Baboy at Langka).
SO YOU SEE: These are the freshly-harvested Pigeon Peas. We have 24 lots available.
PIGEON PEAS SNAP BUY. We are looking for Rural Rising members to participate in a Snap Buy for Pigeon Peas. The price is P220 per bag, approximately 250 grams per bag.
