CARVENDISH. We’re putting together two produce rescued today from our Nueva Vizcaya farmers. One ton of Carrots and Cavendish Bananas. We’ll load them on the truck tonight and announce dispatch time tomorrow. The carrots are unwashed and mixed sized, but they are freshly harvested this morning. See time stamp on the picture, see how straight the stalks look, this is how you know. The Cavendish? Here they are being unloaded at RuRi Viz (our buying office in Nueva Vizcaya). The last of our storm bananas, also freshly harvested. We are proud to give you a good deal while still being able to give our farmers a very good price. Everyone wins, and that’s the way it should be.
