It saddened us because we did not know. The farmer was too shy to tell us that no oth er buyers came after us. Surely, we could have found a way to save the cabbages, to save him. This poor farmer is now in debt with the cooperative for more than 200,00 pesos and he will take on more debt to plant on this field again.
