RED LETTUCE

HUNT FOR RED ISOVER. We’ve been searching and searching for this, a lettuce that is so sensitive to grow that no one in Benguet can grow it in bulk. We have been telling you that previously pandemic-unaffected organic leafies are now being impacted by poor sales. There was the Romaine last week and then this week’s spinach and celery, now this. Red Lettuce is called the “Queen of Lettuce”. It is rare, it commands its price, but now no longer. We are happy to help this farmer with her Red Lettuce and give her the right price for it. 100 kilos, can you believe it? It’s like winning the Lettuce Lottery to have as much to offer to the group.
