These Guyabanos are the ones that we enjoy so much at Camp Mingan, energy food that sustains us on long treks up the mountain, comfort food even if we we’re comfortable and don’t need comforting. The Papaya naman, those are from Guinayangan. That’s in Quezon province, from a group of farmers we call Gypsy. They found their way to us at RuRi House, and for the quality of they papayas and their determination to make an honest living, we took 800 kilos.
