SAYANG TI BANNOG KEN KAPITAL. Sayang ang pagod at capital, this is what the farmer laments. We shall save these CHERRY TOMATOES I order to give her not just to recover her equity of sweat and tears, but to make a profit that will allow her to plant again.
Back read the story:
TOMATO TRYST. Cherry Tomato farmer Sherlie pleaded for us to buy more tomatoes today. I wanted to say no because the truck has already left last night. I said yes, we’ll take them. I figured we could put them on the Victory Liner freight bus leaving Baguio tonight. She took a van from Tublay, Benguet to bring these to us. I drove out to where the van put her and the tomatoes down, in front of the Baguio Slaughter House. A frail woman with 75 kilos of tomatoes in a darkened street, this is the kind of trysts me make at RuRi. SNAP BUY RED POTATOES. We are asking your kind support for Cherry Tomato farmer. Pay for 4 kg, only P420.
Dispatch will be on Friday (Feb. 11) or Saturday (Feb. 12), TBA.
