RED RICE

This is MINAANGAN or RED RICE, one of our elusive heirloom rice grains from Mt. Province. The family farm we sourced this from grows approximately a few hundred kilos yearly, and no more. The family guards the stock seed very closely like their livelihood depended on it, because it does. This is rice is heirloom in the truest sense of the word, handed down, father to son, for generations. We are lucky to get some, we are very pleased to share some with the group.
