MAGIC KAMOTE. Precious 60 kilos. This is all we could get from our farmers in Suyo, Ilocos Sur, and believe us we tried. Magic Kamote is not produced in volume, in fact it is not produced at all. The farmers tell us that it is a fluke of nature, only a few kilos of MAGIC KAMOTE per ton of regular kamote. It is white- skinned when harvested and turns very purple and very sweet when cooked. Like magic, yes. surely that is how this Kamote got its name.
