TWO SISTERS RICE. Two sisters from a different father, and that father’s name is Adversity. One is brown and yummy, from nearby Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija. Her sister is black and malagkit, from far-off Cagayan. What is common between the farmer that grew them is that they have undergone tribulations from typhoon, a year ago and only very recently. They have become our friends and their produce have become our favorites.

The Brown Rice is a RuRi favorite, the one that has the delicious taste of pinipig. Aanihin pa lang sa lunes, it should be very good. The Black Rice is extra-ordinary, a true heirloom rice, Bagong ani pa lang. Very fresh. The only way you can get rice any fresher is if you stopped at a rice paddy and chewed the panicles off the stems.
