ARROWROOT (URARO)

YAHOO URAROO! Boy, we were looking for this ARROWROOT tubers and when we found it in Mountain Province, we went “Yahoo!”. We were told to wait however, a few months they said, because the roots are still very small. That was it, that was a few months ago, and frankly we forgot about it. Today however in the list of items our farmers are sending us from that agricultural wonderland was “URARO”. That’s what the name Arrowroot goes by locally, we go “Yahoo!”
