AMERICAN AND CHERRY TOMATO RESCUE. It’s come down to this. The tomato over-production is so bad that even AMERICAN AND CHERRY TOMATOES, gourmet varieties that have always found buyers due to the small quantity grown, needs rescuing. The farmers are sending us videos appealing for help.

Here is Sherlie, our cherry tomato from Tunblay, Benguet. Here are the American tomatoes under intense QC and appreciation on our worktable. They came all the way from Besao, Mt. Province.

We are incredulously declaring a RESCUE BUY for American and Cherry Tomatoes. We are looking for 100 Rural Rising members who will support this with P350, get 3 kilos American tomatoes and 2 kilos Cherry Tomatoes. This helps the farmers of Benguet and Mt. Province. This gives you the chance to enjoy a very good price on rare and expensive GAP-grown tomatoes.
