DUMAGAT PUMPKINS FOR DINAGAT. Andie and I are resolved, with the help of the group, to bring help to our typhoon-stricken countrymen in Dinagat Island. How lucky are we that by sending pumpkins, we are also able to help our distressed farmers in Nueva Ecija. Not only “Tagalog” farmers, we are able to source the pumpkins from our Dumagat IP brothers and sisters in Dingalan, Aurora.
Meet Riza Hormono of Brgy. Matawe, Dingalan. Her pumpkins are some of the best we’ve seen and we are happy to send them to Dinagat. We paid her the full price (P20/kg) and that was the best price she found for her pumpkins in a long time. When we told Riza that we are sending her pumpkins to “Rescue” people, she laughed and clapped in glee for a long amount of time.
DUMAGAT FOR DINAGAT is not just a catchy title, it’s the truth.
The truth is we need more help. We must help. Please will you send a pumpkin to Dinagat? For P100, we shall send two.
