SWEET. Sun-dried sugar gooseberries. You know this fruit as karamay green sour fruit commonly sold around schools, served with salt and chili powder. Who would think it is the same karamay that is in this jar? Tastes like prunes but with seeds. Working for it makes it more enjoyable and entertaining.

SOUR. Pickled snake fruit or rattan fruit. The best way to enjoy this is to put one to your mouth and suck the sweet vinegar juice out of it. Think kuhol but better. Once that’s done., peel the skin and eat the flesh inside. Pucker up. Once you start, you can’t stop.

SALTY. The Chunky Ulam Bagoong, one of our first creations back in June 2020, We saute fine Lingayen Alamang Bagoong then add dried chili to rehydrate in the oil, diced pork belly adds more flavour. Perfect on unripe mangoes, stands very well with rice.

SPICY. Siling haba atsara, this is what this is. Green chili pickled in authentic Ilocos vinegar along with onions, garlic. Pair it with anything grilled, it takes it to the next level.

FREE STRAWBERRY JAM. Something one of our strawberry farmers made using her own organic Sweet Charlie strawberries and linuklokot sugar. If you enjoy this, tell us and we shall buy more to help her.
